About Us

The Lucky Tree Ranch sprouted from a growing desire to have land in Baja to create a small ranchito suitable for living sustainability. Susan Reynolds hails from the Lake Tahoe Basin. Her ancestral family was made up primarily of ranchers who migrated originally from Italy to the US territories, eventually setting down roots and homesteading in Amador County California. After three years of actively searching by horseback for the perfect parcel of land at Rancho el Ramajal #2.

The Lucky Tree Ranch comprises of the large custom ranch house, a charming casita, and a luxury glamping unit. It is home to several horses, most of them rescued from less fortunate situations. Chickens and turkeys roam around the property freely. The beehives produce honey and the dogs keep everyone in line.
